Uplifting Black and LGBTQ+ rural voices
#RuralBlackLivesMatter
On the evening of Saturday, July 22, a racist white supremacist man showed up to the Bailey residence with credible death threats against multiple of the Bailey Family members just one month after his father attacked the family in a racially-charged assualt at a local business. The Nashville and Washington County Police Department have refused to support our family for decades. Please support The Bailey Family as we are now fighting for our lives.
As long as the rural Midwest remains whitewashed, Black pain and joy erased from history, we will never reach the justice we seek.
